Anthony Lo Surdo SC was called to the NSW Bar in 1996 and was appointed as senior counsel in 2011. He practices from chambers in Sydney, Melbourne, Darwin, London and Dubai.
He is a member of the New South Wales and Victoria Bars specialising in ADR, banking, contract, corporations, insolvency, insurance, professional indemnity, property, and sports law.
Although a general commercial Silk, he has been recognised by Doyles Guide to the Australian Legal Profession in 2011 and 2015-2020 as a leading Australian Insolvency and Restructuring Silk.
Anthony is an exponent of all forms of ADR and especially mediation, arbitration and expert determination.
Anthony is a highly regarded mediator with a particular expertise in the resolution of complex multi-party disputes. He is a Nationally Accredited and Advanced Mediator (Resolution Institute), a Fellow of Resolution Institute and a Fellow of ACICA. He is also internationally accredited as a mediator by the International Mediation Institute, the Singapore International Mediation Institute and by the Mediator Accrediting Council of Papua New Guinea.
